Obama’s Youth Movement

The Department of Homeland Security have just graduated 231 young people, as the first unit of Obama’s Youth Movement. Hitler knew indoctrinating the youth was the key to sending young men to war. He started his Youth Movement, Hitlerjungend in 1922 and by 1936 the total numbered four million. In 1938 it became compulsory for children to join. Hitlerjugend proper, was for males aged 14–18; the younger boys’ section was called the Deutsches Jungvolk for ages 10–14; and the girls’ section, Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM, the League of German Girls).

I don’t think Obama’s youth movement is a real worry, as Obama’s chances of lasting are karmically very remote. He’s just passed a law granting him armed guards for life. Theoretically it would cost a billion or more over the next 40 years, but in practise it will cost hardly anything at all. They could tie a Chihuahua to his gravestone to look after it and make sure the birds don’t drop stuff on it. Stuart Wilde www.stuartwilde.com
