Palestine Finally Recognized by the UN

Palestine has been recognized as an independent state by the UN after many years of trying. The vote was 138-9. Britain and 40 other countries abstained. Their new status allows them to join the International Criminal Court, which you may remember I said here, has recently indicted Tony Blair and George Bush for war crimes, there are warrants out for their arrest. Their indictments did not appear in the main stream media.

It is thought that Palestine’s new status might inhibit the bombing of Gaza, and in turn, it may stop the rockets that are fired at Israel, as everyone will have to behave, or fall foul of the courts.
